Link provides a range of capabilities for testing brake emissions on passenger cars, commercial vehicles and rail applications. Depending on the testing needs, emissions features can be provided to conventional brake dynamometers (performance or NVH), retrofit of existing brake dynamometers or dedicated brake emissions testers.

The Link Brake Emissions Pro and Pro+ dynamometers are designed to meet the upcoming Euro regulation, UN GTR-GRPE 2023/4 requirements and beyond. The unique design meets future testing needs, including highly regenerative brake systems and low drag measurement capabilities. The Emissions Pro package also features Link’s Model 4222 Brake Emissions Particle Measuring System, designed to accurately measure and report particle mass (PM10 and PM2.5) and particle number. The Model 4222 system enables the operator to automate filter changing (via filter tracking with an RFID) and have the system provide real-time monitoring and operation.

In addition, Link has the relevant technology for tire emissions, offering a turnkey solution for many emissions testing needs.
