As the only part of a vehicle that touches the road, tires are one of the most important components. Testing tires requires a rig that provides realistic vehicle and road conditions. A&D’s tire test rig has six degrees of freedom enabling users to simulate almost any vehicle and road condition. The flat belt system is equipped with a dynamic tire and static stand enabling steer angle, camber angle, tire speed and load force control. Furthermore, the ‘unique air’ bearing developed by A&D enables optimum design for the high load conditions required for tire testing.
